The Universal Language of Love: Assessing relationships through the science of emotional availability (Hardcover)
Therapists can use this evidence-based information as the basis for book clubs on relationships and as part of their independent for-profit or non-profit practice, including parent-child relationships as well as relationships in general (particularly using, the Universal Language of Love). The Universal Language of Love describes EA for parent-child relationships and equal-partner relationships (e.g., adult-adult, teen-teen) as well as for leaders (e.g., leaders who have a say so in the lives of children and families, such as attorneys, judges, heads of organizations for children and families). Therapists are not required to be certified to conduct EA book clubs. However, it is recommended so that we can share additional information and training materials with you and also post the names of EA certified therapists for book clubs on our website so that clients and community members can contact you, as a therapist trained to certification in EA principles. For therapists interested in doing book clubs with either their own clients or the general community, please contact us. Certification for book clubs is possible only for licensed practitioners (e.g., marriage and family therapists, professional counselors, social workers, psychologists, psychiatrists, and so on).
In Fort Collins, Colorado, contact eaeducatorks@gmail.com for the next book club.
